Game
Day with 70,000 Raving Houston Texan Fans!
This is the first season for
the Houston Texans expansion NFL team -- and all 70,000 season
tickets are sold out.
So I bought bought some killer seats for the next home
game to check out what all the fuss was
about. Boy did I learn a
great network marketing lesson at the game!

Great! The new digital camera works.

Bob McNair bought the Texans
( the 32nd NFL franchise ) for a record $700 million and
I'm sure he wanted a return on his investment as quickly as possible. So
he had to put butts in seats.
So
how did he manage to sell all 69,500 season tickets for a team that is
pretty much guaranteed a losing season?
Easy. With Marketing.
Billboards. Media. Radio. TV. You name it. But here's the interesting
part. The core of their marketing effort was centered around . .
.
. . . creating
"Raving Fans"
What is a Raving Fan?
"Someone, who after
they experience Houston Texan Football, can't help but enthusiastically
tell others about it and encourage them to get involved!"

Some Raving
Houston Texans Fans. -- the less rabid ones ;-)

Sound
familiar? Wouldn't it make sense to create "raving
distributors" on your team?
"Distributors, who
after they try your products and get a bonus check with your program, can't help but
enthusiastically tell others about your
network marketing
program?"
It worked for Bob McNair and
the Houston Texans, so why not you?
Getting looks from the
cheerleaders sure doesn't hurt repeat ticket sales. Some more savvy
marketing by the Texans. ;-)

Great seats rule. ;-)

Peyton Manning (#18) tries to control the
game over the crowd noise. We could hear the hits delivered by the Texans loud and clear from our
seats. Great view. |
