You need more of them. Specifically
you need more showing up at your opportunity meetings. I know you do.

secret the master networkers use to get a constant flow of happy prospects
to their meetings?
Of course you would! After all,
that's why you subscribe to my newsletter, to get these juicy secrets,
right?
So here it is . . .

They
use food to bribe your prospects!
Why? Free food is irresistible. And sometimes, it's even cheaper than renting a meeting room.
Ready to do some simple math? Grab a pencil.
Your regular Tuesday night meeting room costs $150 to rent.
You average 10 new guests per meeting. Sure, you
probably have 20 distributors there too, but each Tuesday night meeting provides an opportunity presentation for those 10 all-important guests.
That's costing you about $15 per guest.
How do you collect for your meeting room?
Do you charge admittance at the door?
Have a leadership council that pays dues?
Do you pay the meeting room costs yourself?
Why not consider this:
Go to a local restaurant and ask when they are the busiest. They'll say Friday
and Saturday nights are their best nights.
Then, ask them if they'd be interested in you arranging more business for them on one of the slow nights.
They usually won't object to your offer.
Arrange for your opportunity meeting to be at the restaurant on Tuesday nights. The restaurant will
give you the back room or banquet room free for your group to eat. All your group has to do is pay for the food. You could even arrange a simple special menu for your group.
Let's say that your special meal arrangement came to $7 per person.
That means that 10 guests and 10 sponsors equal 20 people eating.
Add yourself and that's 21 guests at $7 each for a total of $147.
You're getting a meeting room and a meal for everyone for the same price as your regular meeting.
And if only 5 guests show up it's no big
deal! You only pay for the guests who actually show up. "No
shows" don't cost you anything.
Collection for your meeting rooms is easier now. Everyone pays for his own meal and the meal of his
or her guest. You no longer are in the collection business. And the restaurant is happy too. They have an empty room bringing in new revenue and it gives their employees a chance to work too.
Do you think it'll be easier to invited
prospects now?
Compare these two invitations and guess which one is more effective:

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see which approach will bring more guests.
And what about those distributors who just show up week after week and never bring a guest? Well, they have to eat too, so why not with their fellow distributors?
The ''Lunch Is On Me'' technique . . .
Most of your prospects take time to eat
lunch everyday.
Does it really matter where they eat
lunch? Probably not.
And it's easy to invite somebody for a
free lunch . . .
"Hey Joe. How about I buy you lunch on
Wednesday? There'll be a short presentation on how to [ fill in the blank with
a benefit ] and you'll get to meet other neat people."
Most people get about an hour for lunch. So, allow ten minutes for guests to get to the restaurant and ten minutes
for them to get back to work. That's leaves forty minutes of actual restaurant
time..
Allow ten minutes for guests to get their
food. ( Note: We prefer buffet style lunches. Easier. Faster. Keeps the
costs down. )
Once everybody is seated, we give a short
ten-minute presentation while they eat. At the end we open it up to questions
and that's it!
Now let's all make some money!
